Medium / Large Breed Boarding

When you must be away, you can trust that your pet will enjoy his "home" away from home in a country setting. We provides the attention and care your pet needs for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We maintain the utmost in a sanitary environment for your pet. And we live on the premises, that provides your pet around the clock care and security. You can trust us to provide
your pet with the high quality care it deserves because we believe in “warm hearts for cold noses."

Accommodations:

Each dog has a spacious area inside and large secure exercise area outside the kennel. Each accommodation area has a barrel bed and water bowl that is filled with fresh water 2 times a day. The kennel is ventilated with large fans.

Each dog has a play-time twice per day for their entire stay with us. We have HUGE yards that are fenced and secure.

Free Bath, Nail Trim, Ear Cleaning and Brushed for any dog that has a stay with us 7 days or more. If your dog is not staying 7 or more days and you would like a bath the price is $25.00 per dog and that includes a Nail Trim, Ear Cleaning, and a Brushing.

Zion Kennels feeds Circle J Extreme Dog Fuel, a high quality dog food that is professionally blended. If you are concerned about a change in diet, you may bring the pet's regular food and we will feed according to your directions. Please bring only an amount appropriate for the stay with us and bring dry food in a resealable container, not the food bag. We provide your dog's food and water dishes.

REQUIREMENTS FOR BOARDING:

For the welfare of your pet and others, you are required to bring proof that the following inoculations, given by a licensed veterinarian, are current.

Dogs: DHLPP, Bordetella, and Rabies

RESERVATIONS:

We encourage you to call ahead for reservations, especially during the winter holidays and the summer season. Call (903) 227-1652 during our business hours.

PICK-UP TIME:

Monday through Saturday - Please call for arrangements (903)227-1652.
Closed on Sunday and Major Holidays.

Special Pick-up times can be arranged by appointment only.

COME VISIT US!!!

We invite you to visit our facility. We believe that you will like these accommodations for your dog's stay away from home. Our staff is very busy caring for the pets and we ask that you do call for an appointment to visit Zion Kennels so that we may schedule our owner to give you a tour.

Long Term Boarding:

Staying on a monthly basis or for an indefinite period of time requires one-month deposit and payment for each month in advance. Long-term special rates can be arranged.

Boarding Rates per night:

One Dog - $18.00
Two Dogs - $30.00
Three or more dogs - call (903)227-1652

We accept Master Card, Visa, Discover, and AMEX.

Checklist for Drop Off
  1. Application for Boarding needs to be filled out in full.
  2. Shot Record from your vet. All dogs must have a copy of their vaccination records for me to view or permanently keep. Rabies, Parvo, Distemper, Corona, and Bordatella (within 6 months) are a must. Giardia is optional.
  3. First payment in advance.
  4. Monthly Heart Worm preventative is required. Please bring enough for the dogs entire stay.
  5. Frontline or Advantage is optional. All dogs must be free of fleas and ticks, or a dose of Frontline will be applied at owners expence.
